Timepiece is Myra McEntires second novel in the Hourglass Series. The novel gets some feeling (literally) from being told in Kaleb Ballard’s point of view. He is an empath who is introduced in the first novel. His battle with trying to find is place in the Hourglass Institute is well fought, his flirtatious personality is fun and seductive, and his uncanny ability to get himself into a tight spot is awkwardly pleasant. (I’d hang out in a closet with him!)
