Cassandra Clare talked about Mortal Instruments bad boy, Jace, with MTV, revealing what the character is going through in her latest book, City of Fallen Angels.  Check out what she has to say in the video below!
“It’s like suddenly being in an episode of ‘Alias,’” she lamented to friend and fellow author Holly Black, one of the few people who was allowed to read the book before its release. “I’m not good at all this cloak-and-dagger stuff. I like talking about my books!”

One week from today, City of Fallen Angels hits store shelves!  Can I get a “woo-hoo?”  In the mean time, VLC Productions has posted some CoFA trailer outtakes, as well as part of the infamous DSAS–Dirty Sexy Alley Scene, which you can see below!  Cassandra Clare has also posted details about the book trailer debut, as well as some other special celebration goodies, over on here site.  Can’t wait for the Ed Westwick and Molly Quinn interviews!

If you follow Cassandra Clare on Twitter, you know all about the DSAS–The Dirty Sexy Alley Scene.  The DSAS is what Cassie calls the sexy scene between Jace and Clary in the upcoming City of Fallen Angels (you may have read a teaser of the scene here).  The DSAS was filmed for the City of Fallen Angels book trailer, and now Cassie has created a treasure hunt that leads to the scene!  By searching through various author blogs you can put together a password that let’s you view the too-hot-for-the-actual-trailer …

A new Mortal Instruments trailer has been released, featuring actors playing out scenes from the first three books in the series.  Check out all the prettiness in the video below!
