I’m am so excited to be a part of the blog tour for Silent Orchids, and I am going to work my review in somewhere! Today, Morgan Wylie has brought us a fun glimpse of her writing community…
Hello and thank you for having me here today to talk about the importance of community in writing.
I wouldn’t be where I am without community. Writing is a very introverted process and can get lonely especially if there aren’t people around you that understand the journey you are on. Let’s face it, not …

REVIEW:
Vain, by Fisher Amelie, was a refreshing read for me! Not only was I completely unaware of where the story would lead the main character, but it was also a great change for me in the New Adult genre. (Side Note: New Adult should NOT translate to smut.) Vain offered a story that was insightful and encouraged self-reflection, but it remained entertaining.
Sophie is annoying for the first few chapters, and I think it helped me appreciate the journey she goes on as well as the changes she makes in her life. Make …

How to get the boy or girl of your dreams
Courtesy of Ava, Goddess of Love.
(Aimée Carter (@aimee_carter) www.aimeecarter.com)
You might think being the Goddess of Love would make dating a whole lot easier, but not even I can catch a break sometimes. Every so often the boy I love is seeing someone else, or he’s not that into me (and also might be a bit crazy, but that’s beside the point). Or he doesn’t like girls at all (which is how I’ve found some of my best friends). Whatever the case may …

Shrapnel is a fun, YA paranormal that is filled with ghosts, history, and snarky teens! I really enjoyed Stephanie Lawton’s characters and the pace of the story, and I think you will too! If you like Maureen Johnson’s The Name of the Star, you’ll love Shrapnel. I’ve given the novel four books on the bookshelf!

One of my favorite Middle Grade novels from my childhood is The Chronicles of Narnia. I remember my grade six teacher, Mrs. Adams reading it to the class. She would read a few chapters each week and we’d never want her to stop! I think that’s when I really fell in love with Fantasy stories and the idea of going to another world. Other favorites growing up were Charlotte’s web, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Nancy Drew, Anne of Green Gables, and anything with a fantasy theme where something was happening that …

I feel like I have been waiting forever to share this book with you! I was given the opportunity to read THE TROUBLE WITH FATE by Leigh Evans about a year ago when it was still in the process of being published by St. Martin’s, and I fell in love with the story and the characters. Hedi is one of those chicks that I completely loved to read. Her voice was refreshing and totally kicka** to be honest, which is much like the author once you get to know her. Evans …

Okay, so I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am that we get to be a part of this blog tour.
