Welcome to the next stop on the After Obsession Blog Tour! After Obsession is a story about change, love, demon possession, and Native American folklore… Yes, you read that right! Several of us here at Bookshelf Banter read and enjoyed this book, and to celebrate its release, we’ve included our reviews below. To add a fun spin to things, all of us here on the blog will be talking about our own past and present obsessions–from grade school to present day. We invite you to share your own obsessions with us (you know you have them)!
What are YOU obsessed with? What did you obsess over growing up?
Oh, and did I mention that we’re giving away an ARC of the book? Just comment on this post with one of YOUR obsessions and we’ll pick a random winner this week (and yes, it’s international)!
Aimee and Alan have secrets. Both teens have unusual pasts and abilities they prefer to keep hidden. But when they meet each other, in a cold Maine town, they can’t stop their secrets from spilling out. Strange things have been happening lately, and they both feel that something-or someone- is haunting them. They’re wrong. Despite their unusual history and powers, it’s neither Aimee nor Alan who is truly haunted. It’s Alan’s cousin Courtney who, in a desperate plea to find her missing father, has invited a demon into her life-and into her body. Only together can Aimee and Alan exorcise the ghost. And they have to move quickly, before it devours not just Courtney but everything around her.
Now I’m obsessed with reading! As a teen, boys and reading were both cause for serious consideration. When I was younger, I don’t think I really worried or obsessed about much – it was just fun!
as strange as this might sound i was obsessed with internet, i just needed to have it, i think it had to do with everyone at school having internet and using wi-fi and all that i wanted to used it and have, but then all the buzz was come down and the obsession wore off, now some times is kinda of boring having internet all day. lol

i’m obsessed with reading (especially fantasy), which i have been since i was a small child. Obsessed with Twilight because it’s such a beautiful love story and escape from the pressures of day to day life.

Im pretty obessed with college. As weird as that sounds. Im obsessed with academics. Ever since I started college 4 plus years after graduating from highschool. Once I was enrolled in community college to earn my associates degree. I just loved school. It sounds odd I know, but it was just something about college made me feel good. It gave me focus and made we want to work harder. NOw as university student, Im finishing up my BA in pscyhology with University of Phoenix. And again Im so obsessed with getting good grades to look good on my transcripts. For me getting an education sounds oddto be obsessed about, but it is for me. I think when I go for a masters , Ill be even more obsessive about it then ever before.

I’m obsessed with human anatomy and physiology. I love learning about how the body works! I can’t stop wanting to know more! I’ve memorized the names of all the bones, muscles, and blood vessels in the body. I’d probably be a little rusty if someone tested me right now, I think it would be very easier for me to go back and memorize them all again.

As a teenager, I was obsessed with Christian Slater and NKOTB. I am an avid reader, so I guess you can say that is my current obsession. Some of my favs are Twilight, The Hunger Games, The Mortal Instruments, are Vampire Academy. And my whole life I have been obsessed with traveling. I have been lucky enough to live in four countries and visited a lot more.
