The decompression area refers to the space where customers make a transition from the outside world to the inside of your store.   1. Guide them to the right

 

Business experts say that most customers turn right once they enter the store. Their brains are wired to go to that direction. When a customer went and leave the space in a hurry, it means that he/she did not find anything interesting. It might be because you don’t have stoppers and bumps that would slow them down. Try to create a pause or a break on your invisible path to give the shoppers the time to check more items. This can be done by placing featured products on different corners.
