There is not much you can say after getting an email with a video message from LILY COLLINS!  We are so excited to see her play Clary Fray in the movie City of Bones, the first in The Mortal Instruments Series.  We love the books, and hope to report that we love the makings of the movie in a few days!  Let us know, in the comments below, if there is anything you want us to share with the cast while we’re there!

City of Lost Souls is the most riveting novel Cassandra Clare has written, EVAH, and that’s saying a lot!  I enjoyed the first three books in Clare’s The Mortal Instruments Series, and I will even admit that I thought City of Fallen Angels was really good.  But, my oh, my!  These characters lives, that Clare has so intricately woven together, have become so action packed it’s engrossing. I also adore the first two books in Clare’s The Infernal Devices Trilogy, and truly believed she could not write characters I would love more …

Oh goodness!! I am in LOVE with this challenge! We all know how much I like men-talking about them, looking at them, reading about them… In all seriousness…this has been a great and fun challenge! One of the things I have realized, though, is that because I like them so much, I have had an extremely hard time picking just one. The Wrap has just posted a story where they say that Jamie Campbell-Bower, Ed Speleers, and Leebo Freeman are all in the lead for the role of Jace. All three actors tested with Lily Collins on Friday. Here are the details:
Three young actors are in the running for the lead role in Screen Gems’ movie “The Mortal Instruments.”
